HMS Defender Inggris Merapat ke Kapal Induk Prancis

The Royal Navy warship HMS Defender has joined the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle ready to support operations against Daesh. The Charles de Gaulle can be seen in the distance.
The Type 45 air defence destroyer met the aircraft carrier in the Indian Ocean to strengthen the French ship’s ability to conduct air strikes against the terrorist organisation in Iraq and Syria.
HMS Defender’s state of the art radars are able provide a clear picture of an area stretching over 300 miles and will defend mulitnational ships, aircraft and land forces part of this taskforce.
The ship’s company of HMS Defender is focussed on the successful outcome of this operation and everyone has their part to play. A constant dialogue with the French Carrier and specific training means that HMS Defender is ready in all respects to protect the task group from a wide variety of threats.

Kapal Perusak Angkatan Laut Inggris, HMS Defender telah bergabung dengan Kapal Induk Charles de Gaulle milik Prancis untuk bergabung dalam misi anti-ISIS di Suriah. Perusak type 45 pertahanan udara bertemu kapal induk di Samudera Hindia.
“Hal ini menunjukkan sekali lagi bahwa Inggris dan Prancis bahu membahu melawan organisasi teroris brutal ini,” kata Menteri Pertahanan Michael Fallon sebagaimana dikutip gov.uk Kamis 16 Desember 2015.
HMS Defender memiliki kemampuan radar yang dapat mendeteksi area yang membentang lebih dari 300 mil hingga akan memberi keamanan dan kesadaran situasi dari kelompok tempur Kapal Induk Prancis tersebut.
“Setiap pelaut dan Royal Marine yang bertugas di HMS Defender tahu [bagaimana kemampuan] kapal untuk memberikan kontribusi terhadap keamanan nasional Inggris,” kata Komandan HMS Defender Stephen Higham
Bagi HMS Defender penyebaran ke Timur Tengah ini akan berlangsung hingga sembilan bulan ke depan.
